Naidu rallies NDA to champion Modi's Andhra projects
CM Naidu tasks alliance leaders with spotlighting ₹13,000 Cr initiatives during PM's Srisailam-Kurnool visit on Thursday.
Amaravati, October 16, 2025:
Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu convened NDA leaders from Nandyal and Kurnool districts, tasking MLAs, MPs, MLCs, ministers, and grassroots workers with ensuring Prime Minister Narendra Modi's Thursday visit to Srisailam and Kurnool becomes a resounding showcase of the "double engine" government's impact.
Modi will inaugurate and lay foundations for ₹13,000 crore projects, including infrastructure to elevate Srisailam as a top Jyotirlinga and Shakti Peetham rivalling Tirumala, alongside Tirupati and Gandikota for Rayalaseema's tourism-driven revival.
Naidu lambasted the prior administration for neglecting Rayalaseema, failing to invest even ₹2,000 crore in irrigation and urged replicating the success of the Super GST Super Savings scheme under GST 2.0, potentially saving families ₹15,000 yearly through a month-long awareness drive.
Naidu stressed seamless coalition coordination to avoid public disruptions at the Kurnool GST event, framing the effort as a step toward a "healthy, wealthy, happy" Andhra Pradesh via industrial and connectivity boosts.
