Pawan Kalyan voices frustration over slow rural development progress
Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan slams department officials for delays despite ample funds; demands faster action on key schemes.
Amaravati, November 07, 2025: Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan aired his discontent with the pace of rural development initiatives during a review session with Panchayati Raj, Rural Development, and Forest Department officials and engineers at his Mangalagiri camp office on Friday.
Despite sufficient funding, Kalyan highlighted that major programs such as Palle Panduga 2.0, Adavi Talli Baata, and Jal Jeevan Mission are advancing too slowly, urging officials to step up and deliver tangible results for rural communities.
Kalyan announced the rollout of a geo-based system for managing rural roads, with the initial phase linking it to Adavi Talli Baata for better oversight and upkeep. He stressed that public servants owe their duty to Andhra Pradesh's citizens, pressing for diligent efforts and prompt completion of works that affect everyday lives.
