Nara Lokesh reprimands TDP leaders for ignoring public grievances
Minister warns of disciplinary steps and mandates weekly forums to address issues before they escalate.
Amaravati, November 05, 2025: Andhra Pradesh TDP national general secretary and minister Nara Lokesh took local party officials to task at a Mangalagiri meeting for overlooking citizens' concerns, arguing that consistent grievance sessions would prevent overwhelming backlogs. Over four hours at the TDP headquarters, Lokesh heard from hundreds, urging a focus on solutions rather than crowd sizes. "Regular programs would keep numbers manageable," he said, cautioning that neglecting duties could cost leaders their positions.
All TDP members must host weekly Praja Darbars in their areas, with personal oversight to enforce compliance. He stressed the party's role in enabling leadership, noting that without organizational support, no one secures electoral or governmental success. The call for accountability aims to fortify TDP's base ahead of future contests.
