Amaravati, November 03, 2025: YSR Congress Party MLA Mekapati Goutham Reddy advised party colleagues to move beyond constant praise for leader Jagan Mohan Reddy and instead prioritise practical direction to revive the organisation's momentum following its 2024 electoral defeat.

Speaking at a district meeting in Nellore, Reddy highlighted the need for substantive discussions on issues like welfare reforms and grassroots mobilisation, rather than repetitive tributes that he said dilute the party's core message.

Reddy's comments come as YSRCP navigates internal reviews to regroup for future contests, emphasising a shift from emotional loyalty to actionable plans. "Endless adoration won't win back trust; we need clear paths forward," he noted, urging a balanced approach to strengthen the outfit's appeal among voters disillusioned by recent governance critiques.
