The alert, in a story titled "Important Alert & Awareness Message," detailed how the fraudster, using 9445893273, has been reaching out to people with deceptive claims. Rukmini made it clear that the number is not hers and any messages or calls from it are phoney. She urged everyone to avoid replying or sharing details.
The star, who has a large online following, is taking steps to hold the culprit accountable, calling the scheme a cybercrime. Her team is pursuing legal measures to stop it. "Reach out to me or my team for any doubts," she added, stressing the need for online caution. This comes amid rising impersonation fraud targeting celebrities.
