Trump world center brings offices to pune

The Trump Organization’s glitzy stamp is hitting Pune’s North Main Road, where the Trump World Center—India’s first Trump-branded commercial gig—breaks ground with a ₹1,700 crore bet. I can see the blueprints now: two 27-floor towers, 1.6 million square feet of office space, one for strata sales, the other for big leases, plus a retail strip and a swanky 40,000-square-foot Trump Club. Tribeca Developers and Kundan Spaces are steering this ship, eyeing ₹2,500 crore in sales by 2029, and it’s a shift—after four residential Trump Towers, this is the brand’s office debut in a market that’s already its biggest outside the US.

Eric Trump’s voice carries over the wire from New York: “India’s embraced us with remarkable enthusiasm,” he says, calling this a milestone that mirrors the original Trump Tower’s mixed-use swagger. Kalpesh Mehta of Tribeca nods along, telling me Pune’s starved for premium offices—small buyers especially—and this fills the gap. I picture a techie in Koregaon Park, sipping filter coffee, thrilled at the prospect of a sleek workspace nearby. Ashish Jain from Kundan Spaces chimes in, “Pune’s turning into its own Bandra-Kurla Complex,” and he’s not wrong—79 million square feet leased nationwide last year says the office game’s hot.

This isn’t just steel and glass—it’s a pulse. Pune’s IT boom, with global firms piling in, drives 80% of its office demand, per Anarock’s Aditi Watve. She’s blunt: “The city’s leasing more than it builds.” I’ve walked North Main Road—dusty chaos now, but soon a hub with Trump’s gold touch. Four Trump Towers already dot India—Pune, Gurugram, Mumbai, Kolkata—and more are brewing. For a state like Andhra Pradesh, watching from the sidelines, it’s a signal: big brands are betting on India’s urban sprawl. The ink’s dry, the cranes are up—Pune’s skyline’s about to shift.
