Newsroom, November 06, 2025: Tensions boiled over in poll-bound Bihar when a mob pelted Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Sinha's convoy with slippers and stones during a campaign stop in Saran district's Raghunathpur area on Wednesday, forcing the vehicle to a halt amid shouts and chaos.

The incident, captured on video, showed supporters scattering as security personnel intervened. Sinha escaped unharmed but labelled it an "opposition-orchestrated assault" to derail NDA's momentum ahead of the November 20 first-phase voting. NDA allies, including JD(U), decried it as a sign of desperation from the Mahagathbandhan bloc, while police detained three locals and launched an FIR under sections for rioting and assault, suggesting the clash stemmed from a personal feud rather than political sabotage.
