Newsroom, October 31, 2025: Apple Pay is rolling out for cross-border transactions in India through platforms like PayGlocal, Cashfree Payments, and Razorpay, allowing users to complete purchases with a quick Face ID or Touch ID scan, using unique tokens to shield card details from sellers. This setup preserves existing card perks and rewards without added charges, making it a seamless add-on for online shopping from abroad.

For merchants, the integration could slash failed payments by up to 75% in key markets like the U.S. and Europe, where cards drive over 50% of e-commerce. Small businesses benefit from easy setup without coding or extra fees, mirroring UPI's domestic ease. Early adopters include Akasa Air and Sabyasachi, targeting global buyers in travel and fashion.
