Wipro realigns business lines to enhance client delivery

Wipro Limited, a global leader in technology services and consulting, announced on March 14, 2025, a strategic realignment of its Global Business Lines (GBLs) from its offices in East Brunswick, N.J., and Bengaluru, India. The move aims to strengthen alignment with evolving client demands and leverage opportunities in AI, cloud, and digital transformation. Effective April 1, 2025, the realignment will refine Wipro’s approach to delivering integrated, outcome-focused solutions that address the increasing need for agility and innovation among its clients.

The updated structure retains Wipro’s four GBLs, each tailored to client buying patterns and industry trends. Technology Services, under Nagendra Bandaru, will concentrate on cloud-enabled and industry-specific solutions, including cybersecurity, data analytics, and enterprise applications. Business Process Services, led by Jasjit Singh Kang, will drive digital operations and process transformation. Consulting Services, headed by Amit Kumar, will offer strategic advisory and transformation expertise, while Engineering, guided by Srikumar Rao, will focus on R&D and engineering services. Capco, led by Anne-Marie Rowland, remains unchanged.

Srini Pallia, Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director, emphasized the business rationale behind the shift. “This evolution of our business lines will enable us to sharpen our focus on client needs with consulting-led and AI-powered solutions,” he stated. “It positions us to deliver tailored, high-impact transformation that enhances client outcomes.” The realignment reflects Wipro’s commitment to adapting its capabilities to meet the market’s demand for specialized, technology-driven services.

Leadership transitions accompany the restructure, with Jo Debecker, former head of Wipro FullStride Cloud, opting to pursue external opportunities. The company views this adjustment as a proactive step to stay competitive in a dynamic industry landscape. By aligning its GBLs with client priorities and emerging technologies, Wipro aims to reinforce its position as a trusted partner for global businesses seeking transformative solutions.
