Murmu's helicopter wheels sink into fresh helipad concrete

The wheels of President Droupadi Murmu's helicopter sank into newly poured concrete on a helipad at a tribal school in Adilabad, Telangana, causing a brief hold-up during her scheduled trip.

The incident, which happened as she arrived for a school program, forced a 30-minute wait while ground staff worked to free the aircraft, but the President made it to the event on schedule using a car instead.

Local officials said the helipad was freshly concreted to improve facilities at the remote site, and no one was hurt.
