Andhra Pradesh IT and Industries Minister Nara Lokesh met with McKay, director of the Australia-India CEO Forum, during his trip Down Under, advocating for increased investments in the state's expanding industrial zones. Lokesh highlighted Andhra's advantages in energy production, port operations, logistics networks, and digital innovation, urging the forum to incorporate the state into its upcoming sessions on bilateral engagement.

He proposed a dedicated roundtable between Australian and Andhra Pradesh CEOs to spotlight investment-ready initiatives. "Andhra Pradesh boasts distinct capabilities in energy, ports, logistics, and digital domains," Lokesh remarked. "We aim to feature key sectors and projects at the next forum meetings to attract funding."

The discussions underscore Andhra's strategy to deepen economic partnerships amid a global shift toward emerging markets.
