Amaravati, March 26, 2026: VIT-AP University near Amaravati stepped forward to improve public services in Andhra Pradesh by funding a new grievance redressal building at the Guntur district police office.

The ₹47 lakh CSR project replaces inadequate waiting areas with comfortable spaces for citizens to file complaints.

Guntur Superintendent of Police Vakul Jindal noted that people previously waited under tents or trees.

The upgraded facility now offers an organised environment for submitting grievances. A new mini-conference hall will also support better media briefings and interactions.
