Amaravati, March 25, 2026:
Deputy Chief Minister K. Pawan Kalyan virtually inaugurated the Giri Pradakshina path at Ramateertham temple in Nellimarla constituency of Vizianagaram district on Wednesday.

The 3.7-km road connects Seetharamunipeta Junction to Neelachalam Hill and was developed using funds from the Viksit Bharat Guarantee for Rozgar and Ajeevika Mission (Gramin).

Pawan Kalyan highlighted the state government's focus on temple development and preserving Hindu traditions.

He noted that the NDA government has provided road connectivity to 22 major temples across Andhra Pradesh in the last 20 months at a total cost of ₹40 crore.

Similar Giri Pradakshina paths have been completed or sanctioned at Srikalahasti and Kotappakonda temples. The timing of the Ramateertham inauguration, two days before Sri Rama Navami, adds special significance for pilgrims.
