Amaravati, March 24, 2026: Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, president of the YSR Congress Party and former chief minister of Andhra Pradesh, welcomed the central government’s decision to renew the FCRA registration of the Rural Development Trust.
In a social media post, he expressed gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah for clearing the long-pending renewal, which had been delayed for nearly a year.
The Rural Development Trust has worked for decades in the undivided Anantapur region, supporting marginalised families through education, healthcare, environmental projects and community development.
The renewal ensures the organisation can once again receive foreign contributions and continue its services without interruption.
