The Andhra Pradesh government is closely monitoring 760 investment projects and plans to break ground on several of them next month, IT and HRD Minister Nara Lokesh said.

Amaravati, March 24, 2026: Andhra Pradesh is fast-tracking 760 investment projects signed in recent months.

Minister Nara Lokesh, who chairs the Group of Ministers on creating 20 lakh jobs, said a good number will see foundation stones laid in April.

The state is already seeing early wins, including the ArcelorMittal/Nippon Steel plant and the Google data centre.

It is developing 22 industrial clusters and three major economic regions in Visakhapatnam, Amaravati and Tirupati. Lokesh added that Andhra Pradesh is attracting over 25 per cent of total investments coming into India.
