Amaravati, March 24, 2026: Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu reviewed the recurring fire incidents in Amaravati’s capital region and directed officials to probe whether they were accidental or part of a conspiracy.

He expressed concern that such events could slow development work and asked for forensic analysis, especially into how the latest fire at the Rayapudi HOD towers construction site spread quickly.

Naidu instructed heightened security measures, including more patrolling, CCTV at material yards, private guards, and drone surveillance in sensitive zones.

Senior officers, including the DGP and intelligence chief, attended the review meeting held in Vijayawada. The state government is determined to protect ongoing infrastructure projects in Amaravati from any disruption.
