Amaravati, March 22, 2026: The India Meteorological Department reports isolated thunderstorms, lightning, and gusty winds up to 50 kmph in coastal Andhra Pradesh, Yanam, and Rayalaseema regions through March 26.

Maximum temperatures remain near normal around 38°C in Rayalaseema and 35-37°C elsewhere but a gradual 2°C increase is expected in the coming week, alongside possible light showers in select areas.

Persistent upper-air cyclonic circulation over South Interior Karnataka and a trough from the Gulf of Mannar support this unsettled pattern.
