Amaravati, March 20, 2026: Andhra Pradesh's ruling coalition remains fixed on its flagship promise: creating 20 lakh jobs for the state's youth over five years.

HRD, IT, and Electronics Minister Nara Lokesh called it the government's "single-point agenda," urging officials to convert investment pacts into real projects on the ground.

He emphasized skill development, industrial clusters, and sectors like IT and renewables to drive employment, noting Andhra's recent pull of significant foreign investments.

Municipal Administration Minister Ponguru Narayana echoed this resolve during a review of urban works in Nellore, linking job creation to poverty reduction and local development.
