Amaravati, March 19, 2026:
The Board of Intermediate Education has released the 2026–27 academic programme for junior and composite degree colleges across Andhra Pradesh.

Second-year students return to classes on April 1, giving them focused preparation time before a short summer break. First-year and new admissions align later, with full reopening on June 1 after vacation ends May 31.

The schedule includes 232 working days, regular unit tests starting July, quarterly and half-yearly exams through November, and pre-final assessments in December–January.

Practical exams for second-years are set for February 2027, followed by public exams in February–March. Strict rules ban unhealthy competition, misleading ads, and staff shortages during evaluations, with penalties up to disaffiliation for violations.
