Amaravati, March 17, 2026: Major General Ajay Misra, General Officer Commanding of the Telangana and Andhra Sub Area, held key meetings with state dignitaries to strengthen military-civil ties. He called for deeper synergy to support nation-building efforts.

In Vijayawada, he met Governor S. Abdul Nazeer to discuss community development, disaster management, and security initiatives by the Indian Army.

Follow-up talks with Industries Minister T.G. Bharath focused on building a robust defence industry ecosystem in the state.

Meetings with Director General of Police Harish Kumar Gupta addressed security coordination, while Chief Secretary G. Sai Prasad reviewed welfare measures for ex-servicemen, including the Ex-Servicemen Contributory Health Scheme.
