Amaravati, March 17, 2026: Minister for Human Resource Development Nara Lokesh conducted a surprise inspection at Mandal Parishad Model Primary School in Devaracheruvu, Tarakarama Nagar, Mylavaram mandal, NTR district.
The visit addressed earlier claims of poor meal quality that led to student complaints and official actions, including contractor changes and headmaster suspension.
Lokesh tasted the food himself, spoke directly with students about its standard and consistency, and reviewed daily checks by staff. Students confirmed the current meals were good. He also examined the on-site anganwadi center for hygiene and nutrition.
