Vijayawada, March 17: Former chief minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy addressed local body representatives and party workers from Ongole at Tadepalli today.

He claimed widespread dissatisfaction with the current NDA administration, noting that families across Andhra Pradesh discuss its failures openly.

People compare it unfavourably to the prior YSRCP government, especially over scrapped welfare schemes once delivered directly to beneficiaries.

Jagan pointed to ₹3.30 lakh crore in loans taken in two years without major development or welfare gains, alongside falling revenues from alleged mismanagement and overuse of resources in mining, liquor, and land deals.

He announced plans for a statewide padayatra soon his first in about 18 months, to hear public views and rebuild party strength.
