Vijayawada, March 17, 2026: The Andhra Pradesh government has greenlit a major upgrade: an Enhanced Energy Efficient Smart Street Lighting System using ILMS-based LEDs across all Urban Local Bodies (ULBs).
The project, executed with Energy Efficiency Services Limited (EESL) at a competitive rate of ₹175 per light per month (inclusive of GST), builds on past pilots and earlier LED installations in the state.
APSEEDCO will monitor progress, handle technical evaluations, and track emissions reductions as the official consultant.
