Amaravati, March 16, 2026: The Board of Secondary Education conducted the first day of Class 10 SSC exams across Andhra Pradesh without major disruptions.
A strong 98.90% attendance was recorded as 6,22,217 candidates out of 6,29,109 registered appeared for the morning session from 9:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m.
Exams took place at 3,415 centres statewide, with officials including District Collectors and flying squads visiting 1,753 locations to ensure fairness.
Minor lapses occurred, including negligence by a few invigilators in YSR Kadapa, Anantapur, and Palnadu districts action is expected under rules. Overall, authorities described the process as peaceful and well-managed.
