Amaravati, March 15, 2026: The junior pontiff of Sringeri Sri Sarada Peetham, Sri Vidhusekhara Bharathi Swamy, formally opened the Veda Sabha at National Sanskrit University in Tirupati.

He arrived after five days of Vedic rituals in Tirumala and Tirupati, received with honours by Vice-Chancellor G. S. R. Krishnamurthy and university staff.

The assembly focused on spreading Dharmic knowledge and Indian spiritual values for global harmony.

The pontiff encouraged students and scholars to share complex subjects in simple language, making piety accessible to everyone. Professors from the Veda Bhashya and Nyaya departments led the session.
