Visakhapatnam, March 15, 2026: Housing and Urban Development Corporation Limited (HUDCO) kicks off its first regional workshop on the Urban Invest Window (UiWIN) today and tomorrow in Visakhapatnam.
The two-day event brings together municipal commissioners and senior officials from Urban Local Bodies across five southern states Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, and Kerala to explore structured financing for urban projects.
UiWIN, rolled out in November 2025 under the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, acts as a single-window platform.
It helps cities prepare bankable projects, structure finances, monetize assets, and tap capital markets, including links to the Urban Challenge Fund and 16th Finance Commission grants. The workshop builds awareness and aims to create a strong pipeline of investment-ready urban infrastructure in the region.
