Amaravati, March 15, 2026: Cadres from YSRCP and Jana Sena Party clashed in Machilipatnam's Ramanayudupet area after a dispute over installing a Jana Sena flagpole.

The confrontation began when a YSRCP leader objected to the construction, sparking arguments that drew crowds from both sides. Police stepped in quickly, arresting the YSRCP figure involved.

He was later released on station bail. Former YSRCP MLA Perni Nani reached the police station with supporters, protested the arrest, and later visited the site, alleging bias toward Jana Sena. Additional forces were deployed as supporters gathered, but no major injuries were reported.
