Amaravati, March 15, 2026: District Collector Sumit Kumar reviewed pending payments by Netams Sugars Private Limited in Nindra mandal, Chittoor district.
The factory owes ₹35.92 crore to more than 1,500 sugarcane farmers from Nagari and Satyavedu areas for cane supplied before its closure after the 2019-2020 crushing season. Nearly ₹13 crore in employee salaries and dues also remain unpaid.
Officials will coordinate departments to file legal proceedings at the National Company Law Tribunal in Hyderabad.
