Amaravati, March 15, 2026: Andhra Pradesh authorities held a high-level review in Vijayawada to strengthen controls on LPG distribution and prevent black marketing or diversion of domestic cylinders to commercial use.

Finance Minister Payyavula Keshav, Agriculture Minister Kinjarapu Atchannaidu, and Civil Supplies Minister Nadendla Manohar led discussions with oil companies and officials on daily demand, stock positions, and supply chains.

Special control rooms now operate at the State Real Time Governance Society and district Collectorates for live tracking and swift response to complaints.

Enforcement teams from civil supplies, police, and vigilance departments conduct inspections, while gas agencies must promote online bookings and OTP-based delivery to ensure transparency.
