Amaravati, March 15, 2026: Quantum experts gathered in Vijayawada for a summit on March 14 hailed Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu's vision for the Quantum Valley project.
Prof. R.D. Ratna Raju, a former Andhra University principal and quantum mechanics specialist, described the initiative as a forward-thinking plan to build a full quantum ecosystem in Amaravati.
This includes hardware manufacturing, software creation, and widespread skill training rooted in core principles like superposition and entanglement.
The project aims to position Andhra Pradesh as a leader in quantum technology, much like its past success in IT.
Experts highlighted real-world applications in agriculture, medicine, and metallurgy through advanced quantum tools that solve complex problems faster than classical computers. Alumni from institutions such as BARC, DRDO, and ISRO attended the event and urged land allocation for quantum development.
