Newsroom, March 14, 2026: Kattamanchi Govardhan Bobby, a prominent industrialist from Chittoor in Andhra Pradesh, has been re-elected as South Zone chairman of the All India Food Processors’ Association (AIFPA).

The decision came unanimously during the association's 81st national annual meeting in New Delhi on Friday. Bobby, the first from the Telugu States to hold this role, begins a fresh three-year term after completing his initial stint.

AIFPA, founded in 1943, represents India's food processing sector nationwide. Bobby plans to advocate for industry challenges with both state and central governments.
