Amaravati, March 14, 2026: Andhra Pradesh's Group of Ministers, including Finance Minister Payyavula Keshav, Agriculture Minister Kinjarapu Atchannaidu, and Civil Supplies Minister Nadendla Manohar, held a high-level review in Vijayawada to address LPG supply concerns.
They stated that residents need not worry about household cooking gas, as both state and central governments are working together to ensure steady deliveries. Temporary challenges arise from the ongoing war in the Gulf region, which has disrupted shipping routes and logistics.
The GoM emphasized real-time monitoring through special teams, district control rooms, and the Real Time Governance System.
Refineries have been directed to boost LPG output by prioritizing it over other products, potentially increasing production by 10-20%.
Priority remains for households, hospitals, and hostels, with strict warnings against black marketing. Online bookings dominate (95%), and OTP verification secures most deliveries.
