Amaravati, March 13, 2026: NTR District Collector G. Lakshmisha inspected the Indian Oil Corporation Limited bottling plant at Kondapalli on Friday. He assessed LPG stock levels and cylinder distribution with revenue and civil supplies officials.
The collector reassured residents that no shortage exists in Vijayawada. Daily demand stands at about 16,000 cylinders, while IOCL, Hindustan Petroleum, and Bharat Petroleum together can supply over 25,000 daily.
He stressed ongoing monitoring of stocks and agencies. Authorities warned of strict action against black marketing or spreading false rumours. A control room number was shared for public complaints.
