Amaravati, March 13, 2026: Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu launched ‘Araku Kouni’ the state’s pioneering tribal millet-based menu during the Collectors’ Conference at the Secretariat in Velagapudi.

The initiative highlights authentic recipes from indigenous communities in Alluri Sitarama Raju (ASR) district, featuring dishes like Korra Payasam, Ragi Chapati, Samala Pulihora, Kantla Ambali, Corn Vada, and Toor Dal Curry.

Sourced from Araku’s tribal farmlands and forests, these organic millet items draw on traditional knowledge supported by the district administration, Tribal Anganwadi workers, the Indian Culinary Institute in Tirupati, and the Tourism Department.
