Amaravati, March 12, 2026: The Kurnool Municipal Corporation (KMC) general body convened its final session under the outgoing elected representatives and approved the budget for the financial year 2026-27.
The meeting also cleared 72 resolutions covering various civic matters.
Mayor B.Y. Ramaiah, Commissioner P. Viswanatha, and corporators highlighted their contributions to Kurnool's growth over the five-year tenure.
They pledged continued support for the city's progress even after the term concludes in the coming days. The commissioner presented mementos to the mayor, corporators, and families of deceased elected members as a gesture of appreciation.
