Amaravati, March 12, 2026: Andhra Pradesh is rapidly adopting artificial intelligence to transform public service delivery.

IT and HRD Minister Nara Lokesh highlighted this direction during a recent forum in New Delhi, where he spoke as chief guest at Meta's WhatsApp Citizen Engagement & Innovation event.

The state has built on its Real Time Governance system and data lake project, which integrates citizen information across departments.

Services now reach people via WhatsApp under the Mana Mitra platform, starting with high-demand features and expanding statewide. Lokesh noted strong rural uptake, with users accessing schemes, checking eligibility, and filing grievances easily.
