Amaravati, March 5, 2026: BJP Parliamentary Board member and OBC Morcha national president K. Laxman declared that "One Nation One Election" simultaneous polls for Lok Sabha and state assemblies is now a certainty.
Speaking to the media in Vijayawada, he highlighted the BJP's expanding footprint in southern states long held by regional parties, predicting major gains soon under Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership.
Laxman tied the reform to broader NDA commitments in Andhra Pradesh, including massive central funding for railways and high-speed corridors to position the state as a logistics hub.
He contrasted efficient schemes like Direct Benefit Transfer with past governance issues, while criticizing previous state administration on religious matters.
