Amaravati, March 05, 2026: Chittoor Superintendent of Police Tushar Dudi urged around 1,000 students in Melumoi village, Gangavaram mandal, to steer clear of drugs during an awareness session under the ongoing ‘Dhairya Sparsha’ initiative.

He warned that drugs deliver only short-lived highs but trigger lasting damage to health, mental well-being, and family bonds, stressing that everyone shares the duty to build a drug-free society.

The program also covered road safety promoting helmet use and a 28-day challenge and cybercrime precautions, with advice to verify suspicious messages and report issues via the 1930 helpline.
