Amaravati, March 05, 2026: Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams plans to equip its free dispensaries and first-aid centres with five to ten beds per facility.

This upgrade targets better emergency support for devotees, especially those on trekking routes or facing sudden illness during visits to the sacred sites.

The move follows an inspection by TTD Joint Executive Officer (Health and Education) A. Sharath. Seven first-aid centres and five dispensaries will gain these additions, including spots like Tholappa Garden near Tiruchanur and Alipiri Padala Mandapam.

Officials aim to stock essential medicines suited for pilgrims and ensure quick minor interventions that boost confidence in care. Around 100-150 outpatients already use services daily at some locations.
