Vizianagaram, March 05, 2026: Odisha Governor Kambhampati Haribabu on Wednesday inaugurated a new Computed Tomography (CT) scan facility at Sri Gurudeva Charitable Trust Hospital in Mangalampalem, Kothavalasa mandal, Vizianagaram district.

He also opened an Aarogyasri ward and distributed artificial limbs to physically challenged individuals.

The CT scan service charges only a nominal fee, making advanced imaging accessible to low-income patients who often skip scans due to high costs. Reports from the scans will help doctors deliver better treatment.

The governor praised the trust's founder, Raparthi Jagadish Babu, for serving poor patients and the disabled across north Andhra and beyond.
