The Andhra Cricket Association announced the Andhra Premier League (APL) will host its fifth season matches in three key cities: Visakhapatnam, Mangalagiri, and Kadapa.

This move decentralizes cricket from previous focus on Visakhapatnam and supports broader talent development under the ACA.

ACA leaders highlight infrastructure upgrades, including Rs 35 crore invested in Mangalagiri now the APL headquarters and ongoing work at Kadapa.

District-level matches will run two months ahead for better scouting. The player auction is set for April 25, opener on June 3 in Mangalagiri, and final on June 28 in Visakhapatnam. Experienced players, including some from the IPL like Nitish Reddy, are expected to join.
