Amaravati, March 04, 2026: Andhra Pradesh is racing to bring home about 15,000 of its residents stranded in the Gulf amid the escalating conflict.
The state government, working closely with the Andhra Pradesh Non-Resident Telugu Society (APNRTS), is compiling country-wise lists of affected Telugu people mostly short-term visitors on tourist visas caught by airport closures and flight disruptions.
Officials are in constant contact with ground coordinators and volunteers to arrange travel support, local help, and visa extensions with backing from the central government.
