Amaravati, March 02, 2026: Rama Jyothi, an elderly resident of Kavali in SPSR Nellore district, personally met officials at the Collectorate to express gratitude for resolving her family property dispute.
Her elder son had misled her into transferring the house deed to his name and later evicted her, leaving her without shelter.
The matter surfaced as the first petition at a recent Public Grievance Redressal System (PGRS) meeting chaired by newly appointed District Collector Himanshu Shukla. He instructed immediate action, prioritising citizen complaints.
Officials verified facts on the ground, coordinated across departments, cancelled the disputed registration, and legally returned the property to Rama Jyothi.
