Amaravati, March 02, 2026: Andhra Pradesh has launched urgent steps to support Telugu citizens stranded in Gulf nations amid rising West Asia tensions from the Israel-Iran conflict.

The state government, led by Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, directed the Andhra Pradesh Non-Resident Telugu Society (APNRTS) to provide immediate help. Coordinators in Gulf countries stay on alert to arrange temporary stays, ensure safety, and offer essentials.

A 24/7 helpline operates via phone (0863-2340678), WhatsApp (+91 85000 27678), and email ([email protected]). Stranded individuals should contact local Indian embassies too. Airport disruptions in places like Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Bahrain have trapped passengers, including tourists and workers.
