Amaravati, March 02, 2026: Anantapur District Joint Collector C. Vishnu Charan commended KIMS Saveera Hospital for transforming lives by restoring hearing in children via cochlear implant procedures.

At an event marking International Hearing Day, he interacted with young beneficiaries who now hear, speak, and engage confidently in society.

The hospital, under schemes like Dr. NTR Vaidya Seva, EHS, and ADIP, provides these costly surgeries free to eligible families, along with two years of speech therapy.

Consultant ENT surgeon Dr. R. Raghavendra Reddy highlighted how early intervention enables deaf children to communicate effectively. Over 50 surgeries have been completed since 2021, targeting kids as young as under five.
