Newsroom, March 01, 2026: Eighty-four MBA students from Pune's Indira School of Business Studies (ISBS) are stranded in Dubai following sudden airspace restrictions across the Middle East.

The group, accompanied by staff, travelled for an annual five-day study tour focused on global business exposure. Return flights 40 students scheduled for February 28 and 44 for March 1 were cancelled due to the regional unrest.

Institute officials confirm everyone is safe and accommodated in a hotel. The administration stays in regular contact with students and parents while working with India's Ministry of External Affairs and Ministry of Civil Aviation to arrange safe return as soon as possible.

Broader disruptions stem from heightened West Asia tensions, including reported strikes and airspace issues affecting commercial travel.
