Vizianagaram, March 01, 2026: Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu reaffirmed the state's dual focus on welfare and economic progress during a visit to Ravivalasa village in Vizianagaram district.
He highlighted Andhra Pradesh's leading role in social security pensions, disbursing nearly Rs 33,000 crore annually to over 62 lakh beneficiaries under the NTR Bharosa scheme.
Naidu highlighted Andhra Pradesh's leadership in pensions, spending Rs 2,726 crore monthly for 62.76 lakh beneficiaries.
He stressed the government's commitment to both welfare and development for true prosperity, spotlighting women's gains through Super Six initiatives, over 47 crore free bus rides via Stree Shakti, Rs 6,310 crore released under Annadata Sukhibhava for farmers, and 15,941 teacher posts filled.
On growth, he pointed to Google's Visakhapatnam data center, Bhogapuram Airport's job boost for North Andhra, and the new P4 (Public-Private-People-Partnership) model to uplift economically backward groups.
