Amaravati, March 01, 2026: Chief Justice of India Surya Kant and Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu laid the foundation stone for the Andhra Pradesh Judicial Academy and the High Court Guest House and Club in Amaravati today.
They also inaugurated the newly constructed Judges’ Residential Enclave, advancing judicial facilities in the capital region.
The academy rises on 4.83 acres at Pitchikalapalem village, 5.7 km from the High Court, with ₹165 crore approved for modern blocks: an academic area (basement + ground + 3 floors) including a 500-seater auditorium, classrooms, moot court, labs, and library; a hostel block (ground + 8 floors) for 120 trainee judges and 60 faculty/staff; plus indoor sports facilities with gym, courts, pool, and parking.
The guest house and club add amenities like a spa, supermarket, and guest rooms on 6,300 square yards. The 33-acre residential enclave offers bungalows with green, climate-responsive design.
