Amaravati, March 01, 2026: Chief Justice of India Surya Kant laid the foundation stone for the Andhra Pradesh Judicial Academy at Pichukalapalem village near Amaravati on Sunday.

The ₹165-crore project spans 4.83 acres, designed to train 120 judges per batch with modern facilities including a 500-seat auditorium and hostels.

He also laid the foundation for a High Court Judges’ Guest House (₹69.4 crore) and inaugurated the judges’ residential enclave, featuring bungalows across 33 acres.
