A man smashed window panes of two cars in Andhra Pradesh Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan's convoy at Jana Sena headquarters in Mangalagiri on February 27 evening. He is now in custody.

Amaravati, February 28, 2026: A 35-year-old man, Narada Neeladri from Srikakulam district, posed as a construction worker to enter the Jana Sena Party camp office in Mangalagiri, Guntur district.

Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan was present inside the premises, which houses his residence and party office amid ongoing construction.

The man waited near the Chief Security Officer's room, then used a wooden stick to break the windows of two convoy vehicles. He also assaulted some staff members.

Police registered a case under Section 307 (attempt to murder) and other sections following a complaint from security officials. Senior officers, including Guntur SP Vakul Jindal, inspected the site.

The accused is in custody, and investigation continues to determine his motive. No injuries were reported to the Deputy CM or his Z-category security team.
